Delicious Energy Balls

Ingredients

  • 250 ml (1 cup) of pitted dates
  • 250 ml (1 cup) of natural almonds
  • 125 ml (1/2 cup) unsweetened shredded coconut
  • 60 ml (1/4 cup) cacao powder
  • 30 ml (2 tbs) maple syrup
  • 15 ml (1 tbs) of hemp seeds
  • 15 ml (1 tbs) of chia seeds
  • 15 ml (1 tbs) of water
  • 60 ml (1/4 cup) unsweetened shredded coconut

 

Preparation

  1. In food processor, mix all the ingredients except the 60 ml (1/4 cup) of shredded coconut
  2. With your hands, shape balls and cover with reserved shredded coconut.

For a school-safe version, omit the almond and just add more hemp and chia seeds.
